NASOG Council

NASOG  is governed by an elected Council. Each Australian state and territory can put forward a representative and there are specific representatives for Regional, Salaried and Trainee specialists as well as an invited representative of the Australian Medical Association.

Council members are elected at the Annual General Meeting and have a two year term on Council.

The President is elected for a two year period but they can renominate every two years. The rest of the Executive Committee are elected annually from the Council members.
