SMS Policy
- Membership SMS: Messages that directly relate to membership (eg. membership renewal reminders).
- General SMS: Messages including, but not limited to, ad-hoc promotion/advertising (eg. conference, grants, awards etc) associated with NASOG partners.
SMS communication will only be sent to the intended recipients who have subscribed to receive SMS communication.
All members are automatically subscribed to SMS communication upon joining the association. Members can elect to unsubscribe from SMS communication at any time, either by replying to an SMS message with ‘STOP’, or by contacting us.
SMS Privacy Policy
NASOG considers the privacy of members to be a priority. Therefore:
- NASOG will never distribute or sell your mobile phone number to third parties without your consent except in strict accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- NASOG will never distribute any personal information about you, including your phone numbers, name, billing information or any other piece of identifying information, except in strict accordance with applicable laws and regulations and/or where you have indicated your approval.
Refund Policy
Membership fees are not refundable, nor can they be transferred. When you join or renew your membership, you are committed to be a member of the association for the remainder of the membership year. Direct debit instalments can only be cancelled at the end of the membership year.
